The picture doesn’t do the blue enamel dial justice IMO. Have a great week everyone.

1) Your picture is very nice. 2) I would not have thought that this is beautiful email. So in a sense, your comment is correct. That beeing said: 1) Your picture is very nice. IWC is doing a great job recently. Thanks for showing!

I believe the dial is lacquer which I even prefer! This a fantastic IWC classic which now comes with an in-house movement.

Do you have any macros of the movement? The older 7750-based one had a solid caseback.

You’re correct. Lacquer. Movement pics attached.

A 3716-01

I have seen it in person and it's beautiful. Apparently, IWC is no longer manufacturing the 3714 (7750 based) and has replaced it with the 3716.

Great watch. Nice photo.

Is there an IWC forum. I have a two IWC watches and I would like to have discussions around these pieces.

No, but you use the "Horological Meandering" forum [nt]

IWC is one of my favorite brands. I love the Big Pilot and their perpetual offerings. 10-4 over and out. Thanks CB

It was mine too...

And it was IWC that got me into watch collecting a couple decades ago. The last few years, however, have been rather different.

My collection has been focused on IWC and Patek.

Love both getting a little frustrated with Patek Service times. I am now considering branching out to A Lange and FP Journe. Specifically the Platinum ALS Perpetual that was discontinued and the Chronometer Optimum from FPJ. I do love the Patek Perpetual ...

Well, at one point my collection consisted of...

30+ IWC's and now I only have a handful of them and no matter how hard I try, I cannot bring myself to like any of their current offerings. I kept an original 5002-01, a 3786-01, a 3714-45 and a Porsche Design 3702 Titanium. Having said that, I can only w...

Yes. I love the 5002-01.

I have been looking for a nice one to purchase. I have a BP Petite Prince I like very much. And also a BP 5004.

I started with Montblanc watches but was not happy with the look of their releases post 2015 and so was looking for something similar in style and price so IWC seemed an obvious fit.

You are here now👍

Have at it.

Nice one, but I highly doubt it is enamel. [nt]

From: monochrome-watches.com / "Indeed, as part of the jubilee collection, this new IWC Portugieser Chronograph Edition 150 Years Ref. 3716 relies on the same lacquered dials as the rest of the collection. Two classical and elegant colours will be ava...
