They really can't improve on them. The current 15202 just changed the background of the datewheel of the 5402 from white to black and called it a day 
The 5711/1a can't match the elegance of the 3700/1a
And IWC is just lost right now...

I always liked the APRO and the PPN…
but honestly, I will never understand the Bezel Design of the IWC. Even if it´s Genta; also a Maestro makes mistakes… 🤷🏼♂️😇😉 If I would look for a third „look alike“ (in a positive sense) I would go for a VC222...
I tend to not agree, even though in terms of design, dimensions and movement, the ....
..... VC222 seems closer to the AP and PP. However, I really like the dial, tge movement and the case of the IWC1832. And particularly the fact that the 5 holes on the bezel turned out to end at random positions. Cheers, HSTE
