we are not April 1st but Moritz Grossmann released a watch to celebrate the Donald Trump x Kim Jong-un meeting. It is an unique piece, what a pity! ๐Ÿ˜„ And you thought that some brands were ridiculous? We have reached here the level 256 of dismay.

it's already a casus belli as who of them will get it, isn't it ??..๐Ÿคฉ

Didnโ€™t they came up with something quite similar last year?

you know probably all about publicity. Imagine for such a small brand what it generates as attention... And what about Moser, no one takes their โ€œ provocativeโ€ watches serious, so from that perspective... Br, Dirk

Cynical marketing, IMO

Just to grab eyeballs. I bet the watch doesn't even exist--probably vaporware of the watch variety. In other words, it's a photoshop special and would be made only if ordered.

MG is definitely trying some weird things out...

If I remember correctly, the skull watch they had on the anniversary auction had the lowest bid of all the watches offered. I would have thought they might have used the results as a litmus test to gauge the market for different watch styles. Maybe they k...

Fun is fine, and refreshing for the most part. And for sure these smaller brands have much more room to experiment than Patek (as you say). But...

...as I also commented above this is just plain uninspired and lazy. There's nothing thoughtful about this, nothing smart. Watches like these, and they seem to be building a track record on this, will for most people here lower opinions of the brand. The ...

Completely agree that uninspiring/lazy is the first impression

But more than anything else, just puzzling and confusing. I would be very interested to get the explanation about this from someone at MG. I remember once reading that the skull watches were released around Halloween, so there was a seasonal aspect that d...

The logo doesnโ€™t have the semi circle curve over the top...

which gives me pause that this is just humour. Although, Iโ€™d prefer the logo without the arc.

A joke? MG has weird ideas...

I'm not fond of those complications on the dial. :)

Otherwise it's a nice watch...lol!

We need more peace and less trash twittering!

What did they want people to think?

I donโ€™t care for the piece and I think it devalues the brand as well.

Leaving this piece out of consideration

I have never understood the existence of Moritz Grossmann to begin with. The brand feels a bit like like the carmaker Wiessmann. Very nice, but sustainable??
