Horological Meandering

I'm going to be heading to Geneva soon for Geneva Watch Days, and I want to bring some of my nicer watches with me. I've never been flagged by customs in either direction while wearing an expensive watch, but with all of the tariff stuff kicking into high... 

Probably safest to have the documents just in case. Of course if I ever buy a watch overseas and wear it on the way home, I'll fill out a form the next time I leave the country with it.

But I don't really bother, no issues in hundreds of trips and I have pictures proving I've owned the watches for a very long time etc with timestmaps. So not overly worried personally.

Plus i only brought 2 last time so nothing crazy. May bring 2-3 this time. Also have to decide if bring more than 1, where to leave. Hotel room safes not real great. I would probably closely carry in day pack

And it’s a good thing that I did. On one return trip to the USA it was immediately accepted by the customs agent at the airport as proof that I owned the watch before I departed. Such a document likely will also satisfy Swiss customs agent’s interest. Fwi...
