I have a similar size collection to you.

I tend to wear modern watches through the day and swap for a vintage for the evening. That way they all get similar wrist time and I don’t consider servicing until something doesn’t feel quit right. Regards Kev.

I currently am not ,and not really even considering being a "one watch guy". I assume many on here may be, if not, could you be a "one watch guy"? Personally, I like to rotate every once in a while. I currently have 4 modern pieces and maybe 7 or 8 vintag...

This has been discussed many times before and it is always interesting to hear what people have to say. I am ( and have always been) a “One Watch” kind of a guy. I tend to find something I really like and then wear it every day no matter what. My first wa...

NEVER! I am a 3-days-per-watch-per-year guy

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get more. But the pieces I get interested in are nearly always in the high horology segment, and I don't yet have the budget to start making more purchases. Also, I'm someone who only wants to wear a very nice watch on occa...

But my criteria tends toward that.. buying something that I can wear daily. Right now I think I have 10 pieces including "beaters". My happy number might probably be 5 and I have 2 of those already out of the 10 that I have. There are days when I ask myse...

And even then, I switch it out at need. Sistem 51 for workouts, dressy or vintage or both watch for church, beater (e.g. Marathon GSAR) for yard and mechanic work, etc. But every few days or so, another watch in the collection usually calls to me. Before ...

I'm pretty much a 10 watch guy with 4 on the side

Ideally I would like to own 10 amazing, never-sell grails and an additional 4 inexpensive ($500-2000) knock around watches for surfing, the gym, etc. I get anxiety if I have too many of anything, knowing damn well I have my favorites and those that I may ...

I did that with dress shirts once. I looked in my closet and thought I have a lot of dress shirts. I went thru them and took out some I never wear, some with frayed cuffs and collars from

the starch, etc. I bagged up 25 for donation and looked back in the closet and thought, "wow, that's still a lot of shirts", I counted them and still had 75 in the closet. I'm now down to a much more manageable number now as I don't wear one everyday now....
