I did something really weird…

Last Friday together with the help of the HQ of Corum I was able to grasp one special watch (of art) which is part of a with 88 pieces limited series.
It’s the Corum Bubble X-Ray which was released this summer.
The whole concept fascinates me.
The idea behind the Bubble watch goes back to the second owner of Corum, Severin Wunderman, who was inspired by an experimental version of diving watches from the 60s. They all had a massively domed crystal. Wunderman took this design as a basis and combined it with different, very creative and artful dials.
With this special edition X-Ray goes a playing with life and death, an important reminder, that life is short and time should not be wasted. A topic that occupied Wunderman a lot.
It’s a reminder to focus on the real important things of life. And that’s what fascinates me and forced me to hunt this „strange thing“.
Above all it’s completely different to everything I own.
I am looking forward to receive it during this week and will keep you informed (including wrist shots of course 😊).
