It is the " Fete de la Musique ", with all the Rock Bands playing in the streets... Funny, interesting, pleasant, but a bit messy... and overcrowdy. So, indeed, the 23rd is a better solution, and if you can only come on the 23rd, that is a definitive argu...
Yeah Nicolas, for security reasons, I'am not sure that the 21june was the best solution.
Don't forget that our non-Parisian Purist Friend have to come back to the hotel, late in the night, with a begin of riot in the street.
