How about a 3-ball . . .

. . . ace to brighten ones day?
🤷🏽♂️
What's that, you might ask. Well, an ace in 3-ball is sinking all three balls in one shot.
Here's an ace Jim made five years ago:
You get the idea. On one blessed day, Sarah scored two.
No one had scored two in a day until Sarah did four years ago.
The ultimate ace happened in the '90s, when a player scored an ace after 'twos' were tied. In other words, two players had scored a 2 in the same frame, which could only be beaten by an ace. I hope to play long enough to see the same high-stakes situation happen again.
I've had an ace in the past, but it was on the fourth shot, so the resulting score was 'four', not 'one'.
I'd missed sinking a ball in on the break, then missed the next two shots. The table was set like this:
Essentially I had an ace under my belt but nothing to show for my efforts. I tied that frame with a 'four', and then someone else won the pot in a succeeding frame.
Well, today I had an ace for a 'two' in a practice session. It went like this: backdoor break, all three balls moved toward the back rail, two ended up close to a corner pocket and one closer to the middle of the table, but all within a foot of each other. I played one ball into the other for a combination shot into the corner pocket, which not only went in but also kicked off the long rail into the opposite corner pocket. The ball that was closer to the mid-point of the short rail was moving toward a side pocket when the cue ball fortuitously caromed it into the side.
If only I had a video camera set up on my table! Arrrgh . . . but still, a smile on my face today.
😊
