Higher precision with the markers on the back when setting the moonphase
Apr 08, 2021,11:33 AM
Setting a moonphase with a three-dimensional sphere can be hard. I'd always be guessing if I'm looking exactly straight onto the sphere or at an angle. Flattening it to two dimensions with markers is far easier for setting.
Reminds me of when I used to swap out the old GMTII bezel inserts for a different look: Am I looking straight on at the 12 when aligning with the insert's triangle? Am I off to the left? Off to the right? Maybe I'll try again...
I will say this a beautiful watch.
