Hi René,

Thanks for your advice, it will be very helpful!
Unfortunately for my watches, I have been changing straps all my life, using any kind of device, often in a rush, low light etc... The problem now is that I have definitively tired eyesight and need glasses. I generally ask my young lady assistants to help me remove and put the spring bars, but they are everyday less and less available.
And of course I love scratches on my work tools!
Cheers, Simone

Maybe pins are not a problem but lugs are! Besides I have possibly found a couple of flaws in the Black Bay Fifty Eight... Simone ...

It scares me so much how the holes on those beautiful, thin lugs are positioned. So close to the edges... Will they last the presumably very long time I (my successors?) use the watch? What if they are polished every once in a while?!
A loupe is nescesarry

I totally agree with you, just sticking it out a little longer without any glass interfering! Cheers, Simone

You’re just starting. Remember: Use tape around the lugs when changing straps Only do it under good lighting, on a clean desk/table, on a white clean cloth (so you can find any tiny part/screw) Use a proper tool for the job If you have lugs with holes, us...

It is safer underwater and makes "pendant" with the indices colours... This watch is lovely on a bright strap... and weight much less!!!
