Hi Graham,
Glad you finally received your ABR, I've been wearing mine now, for just about a month. It's a great watch.
I like your choice of mesh. It resembles the carbon dial a bit.
Here's a thought. Since St. Gallen already has the correct lug attachments for their ray and/or calf straps, perhaps you could purchase one of those and then trade out the hardware when you want to wear your mesh strap?
It would give you an "optional" fashion accessory should you need it.
Just a thought.
