I am a watch geek WHO is partial to vintage watches ... I also run into others who rattle off their collection ROLEX, JLC, OMEGA, etc etc etc ... ALL MODERN pieces ... and several comments like this from several ppl ...

Laugh it off ...

Don't worry what others think; we can't easily discern humor delivered via the web, and if it's not meant to be funny, then who cares. Cheers, Cazalea ...

You don’t collect for someone else, do you.

“Do You”, as some colloquially say. That is a lovely Seamaster. What is the case made of? It looks Copper in the photo. Is it Bronze? Gold?

I actually fine vintage pieces to be both more exclusive, while also being more approachable

Think about it... how many examples of that particular Seamaster are there in the world in that condition? Not many... you have a gem +++

I like it is the best & only way to go :)

Be it vintage, neo vintage or brand new. Take the road less travelled & enjoy the journey, if people enjoy it great - if not it's no skin off your nose. Cheers JML Ps cool Omega
