I'm a Super Compressor fan and your report covers all details that one needs to know about those cases.
I did not know that Benrus had one SC and yours is a serious representative of those times.
I need to check with my watchmaker but it seems that those crystals are not hard to find (he got one for a late Unicar SC that i had).

there are actually a huge number of 36mm SC’s, but they are often from brands no one has ever heard of using so not overly collectable. this is one of the few good brands to use the smaller case. best Graham

A lovely watch the Benrus, I've actually handled one - although many years ago - and it is a quality watch. Given the military pedigree of Benrus it is a great addition to your theme.
