I too like minimalist design. Although my home is probably too cluttered to be minimalist at all. And yes, beauty can be found in anything and everything. We especially should appreciate architecture, interior design, automotive design, and even everyday objects. Philippe Starck's juicer looks like some squid like creature and was literally designed on a paper napkin (supposedly with food stains). It's probably not a practical juicer (it probably makes a mess and you probably lose some juice), but it's a beautiful item that doubles as a sculpture when not in use. My practical family members call this thing useless - but I have to say - I find it conceptually to be genius. True, it doesn't work well in reality, but in the vacuum of the conceptual world, it's wonderful. A little bit of art in our everyday lives can't hurt.

Personally I very much like Bauhaus-inspired and minimalist design. It is never out of fashion - you can't go wrong with it. And I do not refer only to watches but design in general: architecture, interior design, cars and other things.

It’s a matter of taste, but I much prefer uncluttered minimalism.
In the examples you’ve shown they are understated, create more space and allow the areas to breathe. My only exception would be a wine cellar. Keep that jammed to the ceiling Best,

Um, you should see my guest bedroom. There's an air conditioner, and wood boxes stacked very high and Lalique decanters precariously balanced on top. If we had an earthquake - I shudder to think! The wine fridge is obviously too full, many times over.
I love this use for a guest room.
