Funny Navy Seal.

I bought this watch for some special reason, but I could never find the Navy Seal about it.  A plastic crown, a bezel that rolls all too easily, a leather strap (I had to buy the rubber coated metal bracelet as an extra), and pointers that are too small to be seen clearly.  Oh well, it “means” something to me and it helps to fill watch boxes.

I understand your point and frankly I agree to it. It’s a nice watch but not really “convincing” It doesn’t make my heart make any jumps. But then again it’s not a bad watch to own either

...prototypes were lent to a couple of officers who wore them for some time. I’d guess JLC paid to use the trident and that’s that. Any military person going on a mission would much prefer a G-Shock, and for a personal watch and r&r an officer would keep ... 

That is a nice watch ... too bad it has little to offer to a Navy SEAL

I'm told that a few of those JLC watches were given to a few SEAL guys ( not to my informant, he curses ) but as far as "official certification" there is none. It works something like this ... a SEAL gets a watch, wears it, says he likes it, a friend agre...

I in no way aspire to the life of a Navy SEAL. I presume most Navy SEALs equally do not aspire to my life. If me and a Navy SEAL nonetheless happen to share appreciation for Jaeger LeCoultres, great! But I don't see how either of our endorsements ought to...
