Fully agree, Certina is a very underrated brand, but the quality of movements is very high.
I have a few Certina DS, but not as nice as this 1st Gen !!

And other Certinas as well, which are really worth it ! The DS stands for Double Sécurité whereby the movement itself was surrounded by a rubber "amortizer" to absorb shocks

To be noted though that the very first generation of Certina DS, did not have the Turtle back, and those are highly sought after and hard to find !
