I'm not a Voutilainen fan
I know ... strange and I even can't explain it. Well I do like them but I don't think I would ever buy one ( IF I could afford one) Could probably name 50 watches I would love more Now the AP, also a no go Sublime watch but from a time when watches for me...
Both are also out of my reach financially,
but I respond to Voutilainen's watchmaking, whereas I find the metallic dial of the AP too cold. So, not a size problem for me, rather a lack of warmth and "soul" (too big a word of course).

Me neither other than it would be wasted on me with my bad hearing...
...it's just that a 'normal' version would be far more affordable and I love the case shape...
Like you, this is not my favorite dial and case

You see watches with hands all day every day, I would
probably go for the AP, for something off the beaten path. And a bit mysterious to the casual observer.
This AP wandering hours with metallic dial
is definitely less common and a bit mysterious as you say! And the comments above show that it’s largely preferred to the KV! Best, Emmanuel

Thats not a easy choice tbh . That AP is so amazing and special imho but i do have a soft spot for Kari,s masterpieces and i would love to have one of his watches in my collection one day but i also would have a special piece like that AP in my collection...
