Does Anyone Recognize This Omega??
Old Omega I picked up a few years ago, pretty simple looking. Ran pretty good when I got it but I have it serviced, it keeps great time. All stainless steel, cream dial with a bit of patina on it, screw back and manual wind.
I don't have the tool to remove thew back so I have never seen the movement. I was hoping someone here may recognize it and be able to tell me a little something about it. It's on alligator strap with deployant buckle.

My guess would be late '50s, early 60's cal 285/6 . . .

to the best of my knowledge it is entirely original. Could the hands have had lume in them, or are they just skeletonized? I like it, especially with the alligator and deployant buckle on it and wear it once in a great while, especially since it's a time ...
I can see the markers have lume wells . . .
. . . but unable to tell if they've been filled. If there's any lume in the wells, then yes, the hands were probably lumed, too. If not, then they came with non-luminous black fill which can be lost during the cleaning process if a watchmaker isn't carefu...

One other possibility: a cal 420 . . .
