Definitely hand wound
although I am guilty by owning more automatic than manual wind watches. Manual wind watches to me capture the spirit of watchmaking much more and there is a great satisfaction derived from winding a watch daily especially when the mechanism is silky smooth! 
What do you prefer the most, hand wound or automatic?

Something satisfying about it. That said, automatic is nice in the sense that you have to actively move with the watch on, which can increase the bonding experience ;-)

A Radiomir should be handwound for example or a Reverso. I would not like it as automatic.
