It was a limited set of 250. Set 1/250 was sold during the George Daniels Horological Auction in 2012 but sold way above my bid. I was quite lucky to find this one surfacing up for sale recently. Cheers

I brought the full set No. 71/250 when newly offered in 1981 and I still enjoy them every day as does the occasional visitor. The set turn out to have been a pretty good purchase in many ways. I am not positive of the cost however i think it was around 10...
