Casio Pac Man

Perhaps I'm overly cautious but I don't get as much wear out of my favoured watches during the summer months as where I live t-shirts and expensive watches can invite danger (a few years ago a guy in London sadly lost his life for his Datejust).

Therefore I've been looking for something cheap, fun and unusual and I think I've found just that. Just received the Pac Man (Limited Edition I think) A100, with the A100 being a reissue of the F100 launched in 1978 (which is my birth year so almost another box ticked).

It's a really nice fun watch, a bit smaller than I was expecting but great retro vibes. I've left the stickers on for the moment (no I'm not a flipper) just because I don't know how resilient it is to wear and tear so I'm going to wear the Silver A100 which I also got for a while just to see how scratch resistant it is as the Pac Man looks so good I don't want to risk scuffing it straightaway, particularly as it looks like the Pac Man may have sold out already.

Enjoy the pics, would be grateful to see what your cheap and cheerful options look like.

You're like me, you are from the years which were swipped by the quartz revolution. Not easy to find a late 70s / early 80s interesting mechanical watch! But this one is fun, even if quartz! Best, E.
