Montblanc Villeret Chronograph grand feu enamel vs Lange Datograph Perpetual caseback. Both in white gold, both 41mm, both with casebacks I can stare at all day 😀. Which do you prefer?

Robin, the Villeret is a marvel, but the Lange is really in a class of its own.
The L95x series can truly be called an icon.
When I see a Villeret, the impression left is of . . .
. . . an exquisitely crafted movement. When I see a Lange movement, the impression left is of a mechanism designed for aesthetic impact.

That distinct y or v bridge then the devils tail then that wheel on the right side. With the Lange, not sure where my eyes are going to rest. I like movements with distinct visual points like big balance wheels for example. Or the double barrel of a Duome...
