I have been busy (grandchildren and work) so have not had time to respond to your comments during the past few weeks. I hope all is well with you and your family. Our company's travel freeze means that my daily work with Berlin is now all virtual.
I have clearly moved into the next phase of collecting - less is more. I did enjoy the frenetic pace of building up my vintage themed collections, but unfortunately the ease with which a good shopper (perhaps that is what a lady collector brings to the hobby) can hunt her prey in the electronic age meant that my objectives were quickly achieved.
As for this watch, it is truly unisex - it looks perfect on my wrist, and also on my husband's wrist while in his tuxedo. It is very hard to justify a modern retail purchase of one of these iconic movements when there exist such timeless vintage examples.
