... I Fell In Love! Often referred to as the Speedmaster "Mk40", reference 3520.50 is a slight variation on the manually wound "moon watch" with the same DNA.
The dial is a bit different in that the chapter dial at 9:00 is a small seconds indicator, as well as a 24-hour indicator. An "airplane" hand indicates the date as it travels around the circumference of the inner-bezel. The chapter dial at 12:00 indicates the day of the week, the month, as well as tracking 30 minute intervals when the chronograph is running. Likewise, the chapter dial at 6:00 indicates hours when the chronograph has been activated. There is a small pusher on the side of the case (right about 10:00) to correct the day of the week. The outer-bezel is the familiar tachymetre scale, characteristic of almost every Speedmaster.

Originally introduced in 1996, like every Speedy this one also sports a solid caseback, but is slightly smaller with a 39mm case. Equipped with an automatic movement, "triple date" indication and sapphire crystal (instead of the plexiglass crystal characteristic of its moon visiting brother), this timepiece relies on Omega Caliber 1151, which is based on the ETA/Valjoux 7751 and features a dedicated chronograph movement.
There are still a lot of really good examples out there for sale at really good prices, but I have this feeling that might change as more of them get gobbled up like vintage Bullhead chronographs.
Have A Great Week, Everyone.
