Start with 49mm Diver - Oris Regulateur “Der Meistertaucher”
The thickness of the sapphire is at least 4mm while the thin centre part of the solid-caseback is
at least 2mm thick and securely entered 3-thread into the caseband, compressing a 1mm diameter O-ring.
This could be the structure to withstand 1000m.
Note also the orange lume thickness on the bezel, if it is luminscent, it would stay lumed longer.
Double-thread for screw-down crown ...
The inner ring around is the movement holder.
Next, the sectioned Aviator BC4 "Der Meisterflieger" case ...
Diameter about 43mm with see-through sapphire caseback.
Caseback is secured with four screws.
Water resistance to 100m.
A side by side view of a 100m and 1000m water-resistance case.
After the Boutique visit, lunch was at a nice Italian restaurant, Nero Vivo.
A picture of everyone enjoying the lunch.
Thanks to the ORIS Malaysia team, Mr Paul Phua and Wendy Yeow for the great hospitality.
