a wonderful, welcoming community. I have been a member for many years and took awhile to reach that number of posts. Many of you are far more prolific with posting and I thank you for that also. I benefit by being able to read about and see your watches and share in your excitement of acquiring a new piece. It really makes me happy.

I love being part of this community and Nico, I will endeavor to post more. There is nobody I’d rather share my watches with than all of you. I don’t live in a “watch city” so there are not a lot of boutiques nor get togethers. You are my true community. And I love that.

One reason I don’t post more is that I don’t want to come across as something I am not. I’m a simple guy who shares this passion with you all and love watches wherher they are a Timex, Casio or Greubel Forsey and enjoy and appreciate them all (and own Timex, Casio and Swatches myself.) I just don’t ever want to be thought of as braggadocio or a “show off.” That’s not me. Never has been. So I am a bit self conscious and self aware.

Thanks for all your friendship here. I’ve met several of you over the years and hope to meet many more of you.
