A Japanese Nautilus
Hey you got a Japanese Nautilus! A what???.... as I stared a bit dumbfounded at an excited teenager gesturing towards my wrist. But this is not a Nautilus, they are worlds apart, universe apart even, I replied the excited teenager who is now hyper-ventilating. No...this is my what I have been looking for, the teenager exclaims. He continued, its all steel like a Nautilus, highly sought after like a Nautilus and sold out everywhere and nowhere to be found like a Nautilus.
Later that evening, I pondered over the teen's words and I took closer look at the watch that got him all excited. And I realise that there are elements of similarity even in the design to a Nautilus. The brushed steel and mirrored edges bezel, the octagonal shape. Fact is I really like this watch, much more than I thought I would have. I have long forgotten when I had so much fun wearing a watch. Times when I was wearing it, I found myself grinning like an idiot and looking at my wrist and how it gleams and catches light. I have also never been stopped by so much strangers asking if they could take a closer look at the watch so much so that it has become almost embarrassing at times.
So I decided to take out my trusty iPhone 7 and take a couple of shots. What watch am I talking about? This one....

Haha, I like it. The "Japanese Nautilus" or maybe the "Emperor Nautilus".
I'm really liking this 5000 series, although I'm hesitant to purchase without trying it on. The 5000 series is my preferred g-shock and fits well, however I've seen the bracelet on the steel to be a little thicker. Do you have any other 5000 series? How d...
I do not have other 5000 series
Though the bracelet have a slight overhang for me, it is still a comfortable watch to wear.
