Rather than trying to acknowledge all those who were kind enough to acknowledge my mile stone I thought it would be more fitting to put into words how I truly feel.
I joined this world-class forum perhaps two or three years ago. I have been a watch enthusiast since my First Communion when I received my first watch. I fell in love with the mechanics, and it has been with me ever since.
I feel that I have met so many new friends over this time. I feel like I can drop a dime in almost any country, make a phone call and somebody can give me advice on where to find a good restaurant or at least get a proper Negroni!!!
I also personally feel that this forum also has helped me get through the last two years of this most devastating pandemic that has encircled the world.
I have learned so much from the members here. Sometimes when you feel there's no one else who shares your passion you are most intrigued and grateful to find other people with the same mindset and obsession.
There are so many people here who I really believe I can call my friend. I truly look forward to some day meeting all of you. I know in theory it may not happen but itโs something that I would like to put on my bucket list and try to accomplish.
Special thanks go out to our dear Professor Fab, Art, Captain Scarlet, Michael (Cazalea),Abel(sub explore), Christian DK,brauner, and my Canadian buddy up north JR. and of course Ed Tonkin, Michael H and Justin
Last but not least, the one man in this whole organization who has put his sweat and time in making this a world class forum is no other than our fearless leader Nicolas!!! From my very first post he has been nothing but a gentleman, a teacher and a connoisseur of everything we all appreciate as well as a world class collector.
So I will end by saying to all that there are many names I have not mentioned but you are all in my thoughts and prayers for a healthy and prosperous life.
Cheers ๐ฅ Tony
