I like seeing a brand believing in what she has done in the past, revamping iconic models like the octa calendrier or the early resonance... by collecting them, bringing them to brand new status and re insert them in the market.
It creates a sense of belief and trust, a sense of community and care that not FPj nor ANY other brand manage to achieve, yet.
Some of FPJ watches are iconic in the eyes of the collector and instead of restoring a 300 years old townhouse clock or investing in the "arts " like ballet opera or any other crap brands invest in these days, they had the gut to invest in what matters most: THEIR PRODUCT!
I wish all other brands were proud of their recent past like FPJ showed here, instead of vandalising their collections just in the name of relentless profit(short lived by the way).
Imagine if Jlc did that, wouldn t you feel reassured and proud?if there was an action like this on all duometres around the world , instead of seeing them in airports terminals?
Even if I only own one FPJ, I never toyed with the idea of another one, but , considering the general behaviour of all the big brands out there, well , let me tell you that this move actually makes me look at FPJ in a new nicer way.
Let's see though how they play .,,,, they have a winning hand here , I just hope they will take care of their new and old customers fairly.
