Nowhere near that age, but does not hurt to think ahead.   Anyone with some suggestions?

If u don't mind me asking🙂

Since you are nowhere near 75, you have time to plan

so I would suggest a Roger Smith Series 2 with a 4 to 5 year waiting list!

I guess a lot depends on your budget too

 By: sham1 : December 15th, 2018-21:44
and my suggestion above is based on you having an unlimited budget. But for half the price of a RW Smith, you might want to consider Rexhep Rexhepi's Chronometre Contemporain, a bespoke piece from Kari Voutilainen, a Charles Frodsham or a Gronefeld Remont...

The list is up to 5 years long? (nt)

My Series 2 was ordered in November 2016 and should be ready by the end of 2020. The waiting list has increased since. Roger has mentioned that he may be taking on another watchmaker to cater for the increased demand.

At 75, what else you’ll need & you’ll most probably be late most times 😆🤣 Best, Mahesh., ...

I would take something that

is progressive but still has class and a traditional touch. For example: Lange Zeitwerk or Lange Zeitwerk Striking Time (if your budget allows that). Best, Thomas

Order a Rolex sports model now ...

Gold for over 60. No more need of seconds or date. Easy to read. You love hand wind with 75. Perfect watch!

Agreed [nt]

Ronald, I know you have an appreciation for Seiko, Grand Seiko. How about an Eichi?

The original seems like the perfect size at 35mm, but obviously to find one would be a serious undertaking. The current reference is 39mm, and perhaps has a better (by that I mean cleaner, simpler, both are still porcelain) dial. Outside of that I would e...
