My first IWC: Ingenieur Automatic 40

I purchased this watch yesterday and I must admit that I am not a IWC buff but I do adore this watch very much. I love that it is 40mm which is the absolute perfect size for me. The aqua dial is also lovely, subtle and quirky with the grid pattern. I know

Finally....my dream dress watch. And something we don't see everyday.

Since i started this hobby, i've always wanted a yellow gold watch. In fact, my first expensive watch was a Yellow gold plated Montblanc Star, with breguet numbers...a very handsome watch. But it was a quartz, so when i began to admire mechanical watches

Wishing Our Best to those Affected by Flooding in Dubai and Oman

Certain areas in the Middle East are experiencing unusual flooding phenomenons recently. While many areas in the Gulf are affected, the City-State of Dubai and parts of Oman have been hit the hardest. One of the most tragic situations: a vehicle with ten

Hi 👋 AP fans, A boutique visit for some 2024 novelties made me into a kid in candy store !

For the pleasure of the eyes: Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer White Gold Blue.

I wold love to see an enameled version of this watch, one day. With arabic numerals. But, as it is, in white or blue, it is a really great watch. And one of the very rare manual winding Chronometers available, currently! Best, Nicolas

Sharing my vintage G-P today

I have not worn this 1957 G-P 7317 for well over two years and do so sparingly now because its radioactivity is high. 1 inch away, my Geiger counter records 7µSv/hour! Is that worrying? I thinks so and I store the watch in a lead-lined box. However, I can

Decaying perspective

And there’s the second shot of the luxury hotel. ☺️ Great amenities! Each floor gets their own custom toilet, your rooms are cozy and about the size of a closet and entertainment is provided by drug addicts or those with mental illnesses who either talk t

Very intrigued by the élégante - looking for some images of the mechanical portion of the movement.

The subject says it all. My google juju is not working well and thus far I have not been able to see any images of the mechanical portion of the caliber. Clearly, this is not a watch that is just opened by a random watchmaker, so I am not expecting any th
