IMHO — Zenith & Lange

I vote for the Zenith and Lange.
Between the Zenith and Rolex, the latter simply does not exude the feel of a sports piece as per your requirements. Between the VC and the Lange, it's a no-brainer.... The 1815 is simply breath-taking!
This one is easy in my view
I'd go for the 1815 Up / Down (a watch I own in white gold and that I love) and a Datejust. The latter is the perfect bridge between sporty and dressy, and is a great everyday watch. If you are concerned that the DJ 41 is a bit too conspicuous, you should...
From a watchmaker perspective.
Lange is second to none when it comes to handcraft, workmanship and metal quality. It for sure helps that it is also of superior design (but that of course is highly subjective). Rolex is the best mass-produced watch there is. Ask any watchmaker you know....
Out of these four i would opt the Zenith and ALS
But buy what you like and not what others think about a watch (red Rolex) the watch needs to give you a smile on your face not on others or to be concerned what others will think about it . Imho

ALS will likely be the next one joining the collection. Depending on cash flow, I may get both the Rolex and the Zenith. However I was surprised that the Vacheron did not find much love in this current context. Maybe it is the Fiftysix series that is not ...
I currently own the ALS Which I find delightful and also maybe worn in a casual as well as dress setting.
I actually thought I was going to purchase a type 21 but after trying it on it didn’t appeal to me. I personally would go with the Rolex.

As for the Zenith, i kind of have a love/hate relationship with it! I like the new 18Hz movement part of it but the fit with the rubber based strap is not that great.
