Horological Meandering

I am still going to the office, but we may have a group discussion about that tomorrow as we can all work from home. Our office is mostly visitor free except for the mailman and a couple of delivery guys, and who knows where they have been or had contact ... 

. . . presumably the seaside dive bar where we play pool every Monday and Wednesday will be shuttered for a few weeks given our Governor's recent proclamation. Never thought I'd see the day . . .

..not going to the office, no gym, no going out to eat, kids school suspended etc. No social activities and outings limited to solo or immediate family.

Government asked to work from home Malls, restaurants , schools and any public areas to be shut down for at least two weeks

I told my wife that when she leaves Wal-Mart, Target, or where ever after buying what we need to get through this uncertain time, that if something just doesn't feel right it's probably isn't. There's bound to be bad guys just waiting for someone to come ... 

I wish we could be more surgical using a scalpel not a hammer. Let’s protect the elderly and those with underlying problems. I guess the rule is no over reacting will be negatively viewed . Desperate times require desperate actions. God be with us.

But as close to it as ever in Europe: - both adults working from home - all kids 'home schooled' for the next 3 weeks + 2 weeks holidays after that - we do not see grand parents in person anymore - very limited outside activities: we do see some friends b... 

We only go out for a daily forest walk of about one hour. For the rest we just stay home, enjoy a good cigar and tidy up the house. Please stay safe and let’s hope it blows over soon.

It is state of emergency in Romania.

Switzerland - working in shifts from office for the last 2 weeks, working from home since yesterday...all closed besides banks (of course!), post, pharmacies and groceries... Nobody around in Zurich, Zug or Lugano cheers F

Big lines at grocery stores. Not at my local Costco though 🤫 Yesterday we went for some food, did a quiet walk around a pond, and back home. Turtles catching some sun before rain started (now and next 3 days). Local watch stores all closed, so working as ...  

But schools have started to suspend classes and voluntary self confinement is advised once the communitary transmission starts (phase 2). There is a lot of information in the media about the preventive measures, elbow coughing, mask use, hand wash and alc...
