To be honest, it pains me to even think that it used to be a beautiful (and probably rare) Daytona! ;-)) Let's at least avoid the section for the independent watchmakers, let's do HoMe for this one ;-)

It is good there is no yellow in this case.

I might be alone in this but I don't think it looks that bad. Maybe change the color of the tachy and sundials to red or blue and it might turn out ok. I understand it is an abomination but I don't think of it as a Rolex Daytona anymore in this form...

I think it is a perfect watch to wear with your favorite Christmas sweater. I could see this being a very fun watch for about 2 weeks a year.
