Nor do I, if you are going to advertise a watch advertise the price along
with it. Some people can afford it and some can't. You can decide right then if you can, or can't. Saves more than one person a lot of time.

If you request the price...
You most certainly are giving them your email address (and more). Now they know a little something about you in exchange for the highly secret and coveted information which is the retail price.
That's what offices (and discreet admins are for)...

So I’m not the only one? I have a wine cellar with capacity for 2,600 bottles but
my DRC goes to a wine storage facility in a different state. I can’t take the risk of my wife letting one of her friends go to the cellar to grab a bottle of red.
