If someone travels as a tourist to a european country and enters the country with several watches (7 or 8) is there any problem or should they pay any taxes or something? What about USA and Canada? Thanks in advance for those who know.

Within the EU you can find random searches at places of entry, mainly airports...

when entering Switzerland, you declare your property and you pay a bond of CHF 500, which are refundable when you leave the country and provide proof that the property you declared is coming along with you. Maybe a similar system is in place for EU countr...

Then theoretically as a tourist you are allowed to bring g your personal jewelry (watches included) without any burden. They might ask for proof of purchase and it must be clear these are your personal belongings. Now if you enter with a roll of 8 new or ...
