Horological Meandering

With so many manufacturers producing very thin watches do you think Patek Phillipe will ever come out with one, or maybe they are and I am not aware of it.

I wouldn‘t even give a hard number as the limit, as other complications play a role for me as well. Ok, a 10 mm watch just isn‘t ultra thin, but there‘s a difference between a manual wound time only dress watch with 30m water resistance, an automatic spor... 

There are precious few truly ultra-thin watches being made today, and of those many use movements that have been in existence for a long time. There are a few exceptions though, including some stuff from Piaget and Bulgari's Octo Finissimo series.

Is arguably the greatest ultra thin movement ever made. I only didn't bring up JLC because, sadly, the MUT 34mm featuring the 849 is no longer in production. I would love nothing more than to see that movement in a JLC watch again (I know there are some o... 

But also discontinued by now iirc. I hope we see the return of the 849 in a stainless steel, serially produced watch someday soon.

I hope they say yes!

Doesn’t quite qualify but it’s good enough for me ! Especially as it’s a sporty, casual watch on a bracelet AND super (if not ultra) thin.

But I agree, I do suppose it’s close enough.
