This week is like a trip down memory lane for me!

First, Horology75 posts his Chronoswiss tourbillon and Graham Chronofighter and now this!

I had the lilac dial Hebdomadaire on bracelet for a couple years. The finish on the piece was spectacular and compared well to the very best. It’s value for money is incredible! One on the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever owned. The bracelet was gorgeous with smooth curves and polished & brushed links.

But I sold it for two reasons: one, my wife really disliked it. She thought it’s shape was too feminine and she likes more masculine designs for me (think AP Offshore, 47mm Panerai etc.) Her opinion, not mine, but I had to hear it every time I wore the watch 😀 but the bigger reason was the friction deployant. It had no hard fastener and would consistently pop open on my wrist (picture from web to illustrate). The issue was recognized by Parmigiani and later models added side pushers to the deployant to stop this from occurring.

But altogether, great memories of a great watch!

A watch I always loved for its originality, its 8 days manual winding movement, and its dial. The Khaki Green... I was almost on to get it. The " Cream ": The case was big, yes, but it didn't disturb me. If there was not this date, I would have probably o...

A very classy design, and a great formal green

I can almost imagine you wearing this to the Policeman's Ball with your green velvet tuxedo... ...

Anybody who is dressed like that got dressed by his mom

Of course if this was your mom, then it would be okay Or if you are David Beckham, it's classy. ...

Well, if she was not my mum, it would be even better... ;)

I would happily turn to green.

I'm a huge fan of the new designs for the Kalpa Hebdomadaire and Qualite Fleurier

The rose gold cases with the black guilloche dials look incredibly elegant and seductive. Yeah the date window sucks, but I wouldn't consider it a deal breaker. I'll have to try them on in person at some point, but both are strong contenders for my next w...

It's also much better that the background color of the date wheel matches the dial

The thing I dislike about it the most is that when a numeral is at center, you might see partial numerals on either side. When you are at 1, 31 is shown right next to it. But again, I think it's still a relatively minor annoyance and I don't think it detr...

A nice one, Nico! I am especially fond of their Qualité Fleurier version in blue and brown.

Will post a pic of its older sister, the Ionica 8 Days, when I get home. Cheers, Daniel
