I had it restored to working condition several years ago, and while I don't often wear it I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to rescue it.

I think that father/grandfather same as mother/grandmother watch is must and extra special watch for every watch aficionado. Cheers D

I will say I'm often slightly envious of those who do have such watches.
But I would believe that for as many of us that would appreciate such a thing there are 100x the number of people that place no value on such a thing.
