Do all the Purists wear a watch to work out?

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-03:16
I don't πŸ˜› ...

I do

 By: @lberti : December 31st, 2019-03:32
...

I guess this is your workout watch but not the outfit 😜

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-07:05
Rolex sport in steel looks like a "sensible" option πŸ‘πŸ»

I do not want to know how slowly I am running.

 By: mkvc : December 31st, 2019-10:02
Thus, I do not wear a watch while exercising.

LOL Good reason! [nt]

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-10:03

Never ever!

 By: Speedie74 aka Mr. Torquise : December 31st, 2019-03:51
Just arrived back from the gym - without a watch!

I understand that. [nt]

 By: amanico : December 31st, 2019-10:16

In some types of work out.

 By: ChristianDK : December 31st, 2019-15:07
That would only be natural.

😜 [nt]

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-15:19

Yes. VC

 By: K-Lo : December 31st, 2019-04:56
...

Wow, that's brave!

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-09:23
I would be worried all the time with it on the wrist. And also concerned about overstretching the bracelet while lifting weights.

LOL - I only do the elliptical, and slowly.

 By: K-Lo : December 31st, 2019-09:27
I don’t even think the auto adjust link Extended once when I was working out.

I agree, elliptical is not too dangerous πŸ˜…

And the watch can help you with the motivation πŸ˜›

Yes. For two equally absurd reasons

 By: ektaylor : December 31st, 2019-05:28
First, I like to sleep with a watch with lume (I.e., sports Rolex) but don’t like wearing watches with metal straps to work. Working out with my β€œsleep” watch keeps it wound. Second, my electronic companion is for heart rate. The watch allows me to see th...

No absurd reasons at all for me

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-09:30
I used to sleep with my watch as well, so high visibility in the dark was a strong requirement. And keeping watches running can be a pain sometimes.

I can confirm that πŸ˜… [nt]

 By: xyz123abc : December 31st, 2019-06:12
... as my workout only consists of weightlifting beer glasses I need to know when to go to bed.

Absolutely!

 By: baufoam : December 31st, 2019-06:59
I walk, Run and Swim wearing my Rolex GMT from 1986. Great β€œwork-out” watch. ...

I fully agree 🍻 [nt]

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-09:31

I decided to skip workouts ...

 By: ChristianDK : December 31st, 2019-07:05
That way I don’t scratch my watches.

LOL!!! Good one! [nt]

 By: amanico : December 31st, 2019-07:10

I wear a plastic automatic, a Swatch Sistem 51.

 By: rdenney : December 31st, 2019-07:13
β€”Rick ...

Good choice Rick!

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-09:37
May I ask how you keep it wound?

I wind it manually to get it going.

 By: rdenney : January 1st, 2020-08:16
But the Sistem51 winds backwards, which many don’t realize, and which isn’t obvious from the noises it makes. Running five or six miles does a pretty good job of winding it the rest of the way. If I use an elliptical machine, I have to wind it fully manua...

Thanks for your response Rick πŸ‘πŸ»

I'm sorry about your syndrome, I suffer from something similar and know how uncomfortable it is, good luck!

keeping the rest time between the sets at the gym. ...

It looks like you train hard πŸ˜‰

 By: 1WatchMan : December 31st, 2019-11:10
Is it titanium? A light watch is convenient if you want to wear one during the training.

The watch is made of

I don't work out either

 By: cazalea : January 1st, 2020-12:22
(is that what you were asking?)

I didn't use to, but I started a few months ago and realized that I prefer to do it without a watch

 By: 1WatchMan : January 1st, 2020-12:45
I was curious to know what other Purists do πŸ˜‰

ABSOLUTELY.

 By: Brandon Skinner : January 3rd, 2020-18:11
...

Of course!!

 By: pejp : January 3rd, 2020-22:18
Usually just old thing this for outdoorsy stuff, but if I go to the gym I’ll wear something fancy. Got to make a good impression. ...

LOL!!! [nt]

 By: amanico : January 3rd, 2020-23:59

Not Anymore!

 By: Plutus : January 9th, 2020-18:59
20 years ago I wore my PP5107 to the gym and dropped it while getting changed, not amused! More recently I knocked my PP5711, so now no more watches get near a gym.
