Horological Meandering

So I’ve been home much more than normal and have had a little to much time on my hands. I’ve figured out that I don’t know the “proper” way to take a leather strap off - Is it by pushing the tip of the strap up towards the buckle like such - Or, to pull t...  

I don’t push or pull the strap. The strap recoils in deference.

When I have a watch with buckle on my wrist.

STEP 2: Releasing the pin. Try and do it by not pulling the strap tighter through the buckle and bending the strap over backwards over the buckle. I do this by squeezing the two halves of the strap towards each other (so no bending). R
