However I find the dials very flat and quite underwhelming, throw in a guilloche dial and then it will be irresistible!

The Cartier Santos Dumont XL comes in three case/bezel options. Customers can choose from three options. Firstly, there is a full 18-karat pink gold case and bezel combo (€12,500). Secondly, a fully stainless steel version is offered (€4,700). And, finall...

love the design and price for steel, but a 20mm movement in a massive case (even with no display back), turns me off immediately

The one reason I have never purchased the beautiful PP 3109 Gondolo is the same issue. While I love the model, it bugs me that they couldn't have found a larger movement fitting to the case

First look at GQ magazine https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/watches/article/cartiers-santos-dumont-2020-limited-editions

The SS price is a bit steep. The yellow gold case is pretty affordable if you look at other brand's solid gold watches with manual winding in-house movement.
