The stylized B is the mark of Boucledor. It is a company that has been making buckles and buckles for some time, supplying both to a lot of prominent brands over the years (e.g., IWC, JLC, Omega, Lange, Patek, etc.). Each buckle maker has their own styliz...

Multiple people on the omega forum kept stating that the B was for Banda rather than Boucledor. Are they just mistaken?

to being wrong (otherwise, there is nothing to learn 😉). But here I am pretty confident it is Boucledor as they own the active trademark for this stylized B (). As far as I know Banda are strap makers and could very well be using Boucledor buckles for the... 

I think you are correct and it is just something wrong that got propagated in that discussion. I agree Banda's symbol is different. I took a look at their site and while they do have some buckles, they are SS buckles and do not require a sponsor mark. No ...

Agreed! A lot of these parts suppliers are very discreet and under the radar. I am always surprised at how much the big brands outsource from and rely on these specialized makers and not just for parts but also movements etc. All the best, Walid
