This may change your mind. I've been keeping track of Seiko's releases closely since they released their new movement, the 6R15, in the Spirit line. Then, the line expanded with several additions over the past couple of years (as I bought and sold my SCV0...

If Seiko models are "catching up" with Grand Seiko, would GS still be something to aim for? What is the community perception of the added value of GS over the newer improved Seikos? Regards, MTF

Check out this Grand Seiko GMT SBGM003. Though simple in design and look, It is not as "plain" and visually stunning. Just do a search in this forum and you will find various GSs. Bob
