Thank you, Weems

When the time comes, I will attack the strap change operation with my typical arthritic abandon. AFTER carefully taping the lugs, of course!
Oh, if you ever get tired of your Reverso Rouge, call me. Like anyone would ever tire of that Reverso.
And I'll look forward to your photos of the MB 1958 in bronze.

Longines Legend diver in bronze & green dial

 By: Ano Nuevo : April 17th, 2021-16:36
Just arrived yesterday, after a 3-month wait. The bronze case has a great pinkish tone. I wish it would never patinate! Oh, that tall crystal! I had wanted a bronze watch for awhile, and this seemed a good opportunity, since I like the Legend’s visual des...

That is an exceptional new acquisition, congratulations!

Longines has been killin’ it with its offerings. This one, though, is next level.

Thanks for the kind words, Armis & Gelato

Odd, for some reason my photos have disappeared from my post. Well, I'll try again!

Thanks for restoring the 3 photos to my original message, Fab!

When I copy-and-paste photos, they appear properly in the message composition window, and when I first post the message. But then they subsequently disappear. Very odd. (I resort to that approach only when the photo uploader doesn’t work due to “Server ti...

All is ok, now.

I was lucky to see one at a Tourneau the other day... you got a fantastic watch👏

I'm wearing old faithful today ...

Can’t go wrong with the stainless classic, Brandon!

And I really like the medium-brown strap you chose for your Legend. Thanks for the nice comment!

Thanks, I just got the strap actually

 By: Brandon Skinner : April 17th, 2021-22:05
Though I have had the same strap for many years but in 20mm. It’s the single favorite strap I’ve ever had, and I have had and have A LOT of straps

Oops, I forgot the most important attribute: NO DATE WINDOW!!

 By: Ano Nuevo : April 17th, 2021-23:43
So the watch gets 10 Purist Bonus Points, right? 😀

At least!

 By: amanico : April 17th, 2021-23:58

Extra bonus points

 By: Weems@8 : April 18th, 2021-00:21
20 points extra for the absence of a date window. 50 points extra for it is a Longines.

20 + 50 = 70 Bonus Points!!

 By: Ano Nuevo : April 18th, 2021-08:02
Gee, if I get another 430 Purist Points, I'll finally win the Purist Snickers bar! Can't wait! A.N.

You are correct! ;)

"Bad straps" - I like your Look on the Bright Side approach!

 By: Ano Nuevo : April 18th, 2021-07:51
Step 1: Oh, darn, my nearly new strap is wearing out. Step 2: Good! Now I can get a good one! LOL Ano "Got a lemon? Make lemonade" Nuevo

Congratulations with your new Legend diver

It is the wait worth. A bronze watch is on my program. A must have for every collector. The Montblanc 1858 geosphere is on my search annex waiting row. I know Longines is the old school sweet hard. I struggled putting straps on my Conquest, and luckily th...

I mean the bronze geosphere. The waiting row is dominated by Richemont watch brands. Oh, sure, MB is also Richemont. Your Reverso, yep, Richemont.
