Actually, expected much higher figures in case of both ALS and GO.

Industry dynamics

Some interesting dynamics here (turnover per brand, source Morgan Stanley): - The CEO of IWC went to Breitling: he seems to have a clear influence on each brand volumes - Surprised by how well Richard Mille fares - Top 5 is rock solid - Jaeger, Vacheron a...

The JLC and IWC downgrading is alarming....ms. Renier and mr. Herr-Grainger should take note.

They produced a lot of non-exciting, repetitive pieces, too many limited edition of non-sense, and , especially for JLC, the price is too high for the segment.

Do not forget

Breitling do not use the wing logo on every watch. Take Rolex as an example, do they drop the crown? Do Mercedes Benz drop the star logo on the hood?

And... they, along with Panerai, are about to open boutiques in San Francisco

Good luck to the Richemont gang.

Yes, take a look at the 2nd table in that article:

Something strange...

I did not see Girard perregaux here...am I missing something? Surely they sold watches not less than Ulysse Nardin, in the same Kering group?

You are right, it's missing.

Longines is way higher than I'd expect.

Also surprised Seiko is nowhere in the list. Am I correct in assuming rank is total revenue and not units sold?

There are some brands leveraging their history in a good way. I did not know that Mondaine was selling more than 300K pieces a year

Most interesting....

I like this kind of stats

Thank you for posting, Vinnie. A very interesting list. I am surprised to see my favorite brands sell so good. I see it almost as an evidence i know which brands are feeding the sense of time. Surprise to notice Cartier holds grip, and what’s in 2021 and ...

Cartier

Take these models, Santos, Tank, Pasha. Recognizable? Yes. Known for jewelry. They are a part of Richemont. Some Richemont brands have difficulties as i read the list. Maybe Richemont can put some Cartier marks into that brands. IWC and JLC need a way for...

Surprising to see Lange production of 3800.

These watches are much rarer than I would have thought. Comparatively, Richard Mille produced 4300 pieces. I suppose it's telling that Lange secondary market prices, which have been historically below retail, have begun to firm up and move higher.

Wait wait.....where is GP?? I saw Ulysse nardin on Kering group. But I did not see GP

 By: hoseachandra : March 10th, 2021-17:25
I think GP sales should be higher than UN?

What! No Franck Muller? :)

These are coming from a reputable bank's research analysts

It is a relatively accurate picture. Not 100% but this is quite solid analysis IMO
