… I think because of the hands being slightly rounded/faceted. Not the most legible to be sure, but then again I seldom use my watches to tell the time

i feel the VC indeed is a bit more "pure" and liquid in its over design, case and dial, compared to the 6119. Now i do prefer the movement of the PP ...
I was always scared a bit by the VC movement since they dont have any official statement or committement to accuracy, in addition to having no weight adjustment on the balance wheel. But from owners here it seem to do just on the wrist!
just me being paranoid - Geneva seal is only 10sec/day i think
which is a lot for me...even if i try not to focus on it! And believe me am trying!
