If a person wanted a PP Calatrava which one would be a good one to pick up? Time, or time/date only. Prefer stainless steel on strap. New, not pre-owned.

5196 5296 5227 5119 You'll strike out with SS -- for the most part -- unless you go vintage. Pre-owned, check out 5127 and 5107.

... as one look at Patek's website would have revealed that there is no new time or time/date SS Calatrava... Basel 2020 may see the launch of what you are looking for. Currently you could to look elsewhere - JLC has simple dress watches in SS, consider C...

it would have to be the 5212/1A, the only steel model in the Calatrava range. It is a truly gorgeous piece (yes, yes I know I am biased!!)
