SS Patek Calatrava?

Hardly an entry-level point as the rest have pointed out! smile

A 5196 would be a nice place to start.

Entry Level Patek

If a person wanted a PP Calatrava which one would be a good one to pick up? Time, or time/date only. Prefer stainless steel on strap. New, not pre-owned.

Because if we are talking modern, I only see this one ( at least this is the one which immediately comes to my mind ).

Ref 5565 Steel, 36 mm case, 300 pieces. And expect to pay more than a 5196P. ...

$50,000 entry price [nt]

Lots to choose from...

5196 5296 5227 5119 You'll strike out with SS -- for the most part -- unless you go vintage. Pre-owned, check out 5127 and 5107.

I’m afraid you cannot buy a new, “entry-level” SS Calatrava, as the only SS Calatrava currently in the collection is the 5212A...

You either need to source a used model, or perhaps wait for the new releases in May..😉Cheers.

Honestly, this is a weird request...

... as one look at Patek's website would have revealed that there is no new time or time/date SS Calatrava... Basel 2020 may see the launch of what you are looking for. Currently you could to look elsewhere - JLC has simple dress watches in SS, consider C...

Good point - i guess JLC would fit best.

If there is a new ss calatrava this year, its gonna be hard to get.

As you had mentioned steel on strap

it would have to be the 5212/1A, the only steel model in the Calatrava range. It is a truly gorgeous piece (yes, yes I know I am biased!!)
