A high resolution shot with the all manual settings from my camera for this beauty, in its proper environment: Sensual but still sober, this Super Compressor is so strong looking! Best, Nicolas...

A lovely watch.

It definitely looks good in its environment. Best regards, George

Thanks for looking, George.

It is always a pleasure.

Where do you find these beauties?

 By: fernando : February 12th, 2012-00:46
A lovely shot but I may prefer your signature moody vampire shot with the plain dark background, without the distractions. Thanks for showing such a rarely seen UG. I remember owning a UG once but long gone now. Best fernando

Under the sea... :)))

It is maybe 3 or 4 years that I own it, tough... This one was a lucky catch. An ad in a french collectors market, a friend who warns me, and a meeting with the seller. As simple as the Lottery. Best, my friend. Nicolas

Object of deep desire

Nicolas Beautiful picture of a wonder. I had the honor to see one of those "in metal" and you captured this watch with mastery. A great Sunday to all, Nilo

Love this watch

More and more I am starting to appreciate older and vintage watches. I find myself drooling over vintage Memovox and triple date moonphase watches. Posts like this do not help my friend Regards. Simon

Very nice NIcholas

 By: Franco : February 12th, 2012-04:38
... I would see it perfect with a 1960's vintage Tropic strap Ciao Franco

Very nice photo composition Nicolas! Great to show us...

... a magnificent U/G Polerouter. I like these watches so much! I own a conventional example (not diver) which shows "Polarouter" on the dial, which was the original name, being changed to Polerouter later. These are very classic watches, very elegant and...

We should more often speak about these UGs, Abel.

They are very interesting and fine watches. Their micro rotors are the cherry on the cake. Thanks for your input, and when you have the time, post a picture or two of yours, please! Best, Nicolas

Hi Nicolas, my dear friend, I agree with you: these classic & nice UG deserve...

 By: Subexplorer : February 12th, 2012-07:39
... a little more talking and showing here. Let me say, that regretably I only have one: a non diver, first generation "Polarouter" De Luxe, that is, previous to change its name for "Polerouter". Its movement is also the one used previously to the adoptio...

Can't wait to see it! Thanks in advance Abel. [nt]

Was it sensual, do you think, when it was new, or only after it took on its patina?

Sensual, it was. It now gets some character. Is that a good lawyer's answer? :) [nt]

You know my love for the SC cases... Still have 3 more on the hunt: Droz, Bulova, and of course, the Vulcain Nautical, the original from 1961. Best, Eitan. Nicolas
