Rolex doorstop

Good evening all,

I think my 455 ‘Time to the second’ dealers clock will languish as either a doorstop or paperweight unless I can find a suitable restorer.
The following are some of the things that need to be remedied:
1. Hour hand not turning
2. Date disk not turning/ flipping over
3. Whilst the seconds hand ticks, it does not line up with  each second marker accurately
4. Dust and remnants of old lume on dial
5. Lume missing from all hands (re-luming required)
6. Small, knurled brass knob which manually turns over the date disc from the back of the movement is missing (new one will need to be turned/ manufactured.

Are there any fellow owners and/or experts that can recommend someone who will do a sympathetic restoration and service of the quartz movement in the UK.

Would love to hear your thoughts especially from fellow owners on what I should do, so I can get this fabulous object back to its former great self!

Best wishes
Al

...a gold-plated Reese's Peanut Butter Cup...

It can easily be fixed with a new quartz module to hold time and date

The rest I don’t know. Probably depends if you’re just looking to have look good again or a full on restoration to original. I don’t think it would be that hard to do unless it’s the later. Really cool piece.
